QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors degree or higher from a recognized accredited college or university;Valid Texas Certification forEC-6 or EC-4(Standard Provisional or One-Year certificates only;ACP candidates on a probationary certificate do not qualify);Minimum of three (3) years of successful experience as an elementary classroom teacher preferred;Strong experience with at-risk / small group reading intervention and instruction;Excellent classroom management.This position does not qualify for a lateral teacher transfer within CFISD during the school year.TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Probationary/Term Contract: 187 daysSALARY:Pay Grade T60 (Teacher Classification) as approved by the Board of Trustees FUNCTIONS:Develop and maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective teaching and learning.Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.WORKING CONDITIONS:Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:Maintain emotional control under stress.
