TEACHER STARTING SALARY IS $48700. Experience:None required. Salary is based on verified years of teaching experience. Certifications & Licenses:Must be eligible for Florida Department of Education Certification in appropriate subject area.The minimum qualifications for the remaining school-based ESE positions are listed in the chart below.ESE PositionExperienceCertifications & LicensesESE Certified Behavior AnalystThree (3) years successful teaching or work experience with students on the autism spectrum and/or students with behaviorally complex needs. Experience with special education and related services for students with disabilities.Board certification as a Behavior Analyst AND Florida Department of Education teaching certification in at least one (1) area of Exceptional Student Education Guidance and Counseling or School Psychology. Autism Spectrum Disorder Endorsement preferred.ESE Intervention RepresentativeFive (5) years successful classroom teaching experience in exceptional student education or a combination of exceptional/regular education teaching experience.
