Job Description
This position is open until filled after the 5-day required posting period.Primary Purpose:The Coordinator of Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) will serve as the district expert on the TIA program to ensure successful implementation expansion and ongoing effectiveness of the program. Support the implementation and monitoring of the TIA program by developing and updating program materials training staff and analyzing data related to teacher designations and student growth assessments. Collaborate with state and district personnel associated with TIAQualificationsMinimum Education/CertificationMasters degree requiredCurrent and Valid Texas Administrative CertificationCurrent and Valid Texas Teacher CertificationMinimum ExperienceAdministrative experience preferredSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Strong organizational communication public relations and interpersonal skillsAbility to coordinate plan and implement state/district initiativesAbility to interpret and implement policy procedures and dataAbility to organize ad prioritize responsibilities projects and tasksAbility to seek resources and solutions to effectively solve problemsAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inferenceAbility to apply concepts such as fractions percentages ratios and proportionsWork Conditions:Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripheralsPosture: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping pushing/pulling and twistingMotion: Repetitive hand motions including frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reachingLifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 50 pounds)Environment: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain professional demeanor under stress; must have problem solving skills; work prolonged and/or irregular hoursTravel: Frequent district-wide travel; occasional statewide travel and occasional out-of-state travelRegular attendance is an essential functionMajor Responsibilities and Duties:Serve as the TIA designee for the District.Provide guidance and support to campuses and district leadership in implementing and monitoring the TIA program.Assist in creating and updating manuals training materials website content and other resources related to TIA.Assist in developing the program to include as many employees and disciplines as possible.Work with district personnel TIA committees and other stakeholders to ensure consistent and high-quality implementation of the program.Develop and deliver effective presentations to answer questions from various stakeholders including administrators and teachers regarding TIA.Analyze data from TIA related assessments and benchmarks to inform program implementation evaluation and expansion.Facilitate T-TESS calibration training to campus administrators as it relates to TIA.Complete all required applications data submissions reports verifications and surveys regarding TIA.Assist with the development and implementation of employee retention programs.Ensure that district policies procedures and practices comply with relevant federal and state laws and regulations.Ensure and maintain communication with campus and district administrators and other staff to develop an understanding of future TIA needs.Utilize and manage all related software management systems related to TIA.Develop and provide training to all employees regarding the districts local designation system for TIA.Maintain current knowledge of TIA and its additions and enhancements as well as other recruitment and retention programs through professional development legislative updates and other means.Perform other tasks and assume such responsibilities as may be assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:EVALUATION:In accordance with Board policy.Required Experience:IC Key Skills Client Server,Account Development,Business Travel,Corporate Risk Management,Dsp,Litigation Paralegal Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
