JOB DESCRIPTION
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:
- Valid TVI educator license is required
- Background or experience working as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired
- Comfortable managing an itinerant, districtwide caseload
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Ability to adapt instructional materials and environments to a variety of student needs
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and services to students who are visually impaired, adjusting content based on individual student needs
- Consult regularly with general education teachers and staff to ensure accessibility and inclusion
- Conduct functional vision assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for assigned students
- Travel within the district to provide onsite support across multiple campuses, creating an inclusive learning environment
- Advocate for resources, accommodations, and materials necessary for student success
- Serve as a liaison among families, educational teams, and support staff to foster collaborative student support
