The Science Teacher will provide the students a comprehensive academic experience using the Archdiocesan and State of Maryland Science curriculum. This is a full-time benefit eligible 10-month teaching position.Essential FunctionsMaintains high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teaching of the Catholic Church.Plans and implements instructional programs with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocese of Baltimore and State of MD Standards.Creates an instructional environment conducive to learning.Maintains accurate and complete records of students progress and development in a timely manner.Communicates standards achievements and deficiencies to students and parents through email phone calls conferences and electronic grade book.Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students both in and outside of the classroom.Position QualificationsBachelors Degree required.MSDE Certification or the willingness to obtain certification required.Classroom teaching experience preferred.Proficient in using a variety of technology.*To be considered for a teaching opportunity and to assist with determining compensation the following documentation is required to be uploaded with your application: Resume applicable certifications licensures (PEL) transcripts and reference contact information.
