The Teaching Pastor will serve as TerraNova's primary Sunday morning communicator , partnering closely with the Lead Pastor to shape the church's teaching voice, discipleship culture, and spiritual formation. This is a meaningful season at TerraNova as we continue strengthening our community, with a focus on reaching young families.

What You'll Do
1. Teaching & Preaching
- Work in collaboration with the Lead Pastor to develop message series and deliver biblically faithful and engaging sermons.
- Actively build relationships within the church to create connection, provide care, and help people find and fully follow Jesus.
- Help shape and support environments (life groups, seminars, workshops) that move people along the pathway of spiritual formation. Scope based on gifting and team structure.
- Participate as a key leader on the staff team: from contributing to vision & culture, to providing support and supervision.

- Able to effectively (and repeatedly) communicate the Scriptures in a way that is both biblically faithful and culturally accessible.
- Excited about helping people find faith and begin to follow Jesus.
- A team player, emotionally intelligent, and resilient.
- Relational and enjoy walking through life with the people you're serving.
- Ready to partner with a Lead Pastor whose focus is vision, culture, leadership development, and strategy.
- A mature Christian faith, theological depth, and humility & integrity.
- Proven preaching/teaching experience.
- Ministry leadership experience (church, nonprofit, or related setting).
- Seminary training or equivalent theological education preferred.
- Strong cultural awareness and communication instincts are essential.
- Status: Full-Time
- Compensation: $80,000-$100,000 (depending on experience)
