Position Title: Teaching Specialist, Biology, Non-Tenure Track (NTTP), Starting September 1, 2026City: GallowayState: New JerseyEmployment Type: Faculty Full-timeDescriptionCampus Location: Main Campus (Galloway)Department: School of Natural Sciences & MathematicsSalary Range: $57,072.15 - $68,482.22Salary Information: Salary commensurate with experience and is accompanied by an extremely competitive University benefits packageWork Hours: VariesBrief Job Overview/SummaryThe Biology program at Stockton University seeks to fill a renewable, full-time, Non-Tenure Track Teaching Position beginning September 1, 2026. Responsibilities include teaching lecture and laboratory courses for our one-year introductory biology sequence: Cells and Molecules, and Biodiversity and Evolution. The ability to also teach Anatomy and Physiology lecture and lab, and/or Microbiology lecture and lab for health science students is preferred.Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Teach 32 credit hours per academic year (16 credits per semester), with lectures carrying 4 credit hours and laboratories carrying 2 credit hoursContribute to laboratory coordination and preparationParticipate in service to the Biology Program, School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (NAMS), and/or University as appropriateRequired Qualifications:Master’s degree in biology or a closely related disciplineRelevant teaching experience in biologyPreferred Qualifications:Ph.D. in biology or a closely related disciplineRecord of exemplary teaching at the university level as evidenced by student and peer evaluationsExperience with course development and active learning strategiesScreening Information:Screening of applications begins immediately and will continue until the position is filled.How to Apply:To apply please visit https://employment.stockton.edu or click the "Apply" button.Only electronic documents will be accepted.
