As a result, our award-winning data helps power the capital markets!Bloomberg’s Pricing group is a market leader in intraday pricing and end of day valuations and is the primary pricing provider for Bloomberg indices.  What's the role?We are looking for an ambitious and creative senior leader to lead and scale our Private Markets Valuations business. This role will focus on building a market-leading suite of valuation solutions across private assets, bringing greater transparency, consistency and insight to an increasingly important segment of the capital markets. Private markets across all asset classes are a key growth area for our clients, who are seeking robust, independent and scalable valuation solutions.Reporting directly into the Head of Pricing, you will be responsible for defining and executing the strategic vision for Bloomberg’s Private Markets Valuations offering. You will partner closely with marquee clients to design and launch innovative pricing products that address complex valuation challenges and evolving industry needs. This includes developing solutions that integrate seamlessly into client workflows and support decision-making across investment, risk, and portfolio management functions.We are looking for a proven leader who can articulate a vision and and inspire a team of product managers while working collaboratively across engineering, data, analytics, risk and portfolio solutions teams. The scope of the role is broad, spanning product design, development, deployment, commercialization and ongoing enhancement to ensure we deliver a best-in-class valuation solution across private markets.We’ll trust you to:Define and execute the strategic vision for Bloomberg’s Private Markets Valuations businessDesign, develop and deliver innovative valuation products across private market asset classesPartner with marquee clients to co-create solutions that solve complex valuation challengesDrive adoption and commercialization of private markets valuation products globallyCollaborate across engineering, data, analytics, risk and portfolio teams to integrate valuations into broader workflowsIdentify market opportunities and anticipate client needs in a rapidly evolving private markets landscapeEnsure Bloomberg’s Private Markets Valuations offering is positioned as a market-leading solutionEngage with senior stakeholders internally and externally to align on strategy and executionOversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, including development, deployment, marketing and enhancementStay abreast of evolving market trends and ensure our products are well positioned to capitalize on these trendsYou’ll need to have:10+ years of capital markets experience including significant experience in private markets (e.g. private equity, private credit, real assets)Deep understanding of private markets valuation methodologies, workflows and challengesStrong knowledge of the private markets ecosystem, including market participants, data challenges and regulatory considerationsDemonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic product roadmapsExperience working with and influencing senior stakeholders across multiple functionsStrong commercial acumen with experience driving product adoption and growthPassion for innovation and building differentiated solutions in an emerging and rapidly evolving marketStrong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex data and technology challengesAppreciation of the commercial value of data and experience monetizing data products at scaleCommitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive team environmentWe’d love to see:Leadership experience in product management, business management or risk management within financial services A good understanding of the Bloomberg Terminal and its functionality Experience building or scaling valuation solutions for private marketsFamiliarity with integrating valuation data into risk, analytics and portfolio management workflowsKnowledge of data delivery models, APIs and modern data platformsDemonstrable experience working with multiple stakeholders to deliver projects and initiativesPrior experience developing a new product or growing an existing oneSalary Range = 235,000 - 350,000 USD Annual + Benefits + BonusThe referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
