The conformal coat operation team leader plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective and efficient application of conformal coating to electronic components and assemblies.DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to:Lead and motivate team members while attaining the companys objectives of safety quality and throughputCoordinate daily production activities to meet customer commitsEnsure quality of workmanship to meet IPC standard requirementsHold and conduct daily Kaizen team meetings to communicate issues identify areas to improve throughput efficiencies and track actions required to meet improvementsManage individual performance of team members including reviewing and evaluating performance through reviews setting objectives & expectations and developing team members to their fullest potentialCommunicate with other members of the team to ensure efficiency and high level of productivity on our production linesIdentifying talent and developing talent pipelineAssess team member skill levels and ensure appropriate training is providedIdentify areas for cross-training opportunitiesDirect communication with internal team members leaders and other stakeholders regarding delivery commitments and production requirementsServant leadershipSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:7 years experience of chemical handling and conformal coating materials is requiredIn depth knowledge of conformal coating processes materials and equipmentSupervise and lead a team of conformal coat operators providing guidance training and support to ensure optimal performanceExperience operating automated machineryExperience working on SMT/TH or Mix Tech assembliesAbility to read and understand assembly documentationOversee the maintenance and calibration of coating equipment to ensure reliability and safetyManage the inventory of conformal coating materials and supplies ensuring an adequate stock is available for production.Solid understanding in IPC 610-A or ANSI-J technical standardsAbility to resolve conflict amongst team members without escalationAbility to identify process improvements needed to support build requirements and develop a plan to meet delivery commitsGood computer skills: experience in using an ERP or MRP is an advantage; familiar with MS Office suite is requiredSolid oral and written communication skillsCapable to multi-task and work in a fast paced highly dynamic environmentWORKING ENVIRONMENT:Physical DemandsMay on occasion spend an extended amount of time standing or walking in a production environmentCandidate must possess enough strength to safely maneuver around product up to 25lbs without injury to themselves or othersMental DemandsCapable of accepting and completing work assignments with minimal supervision in a highly motivated manner fast paced and high-pressure situationsWorking ConditionsTeam members are required to wear ESD and safety gears while working in safety sensitive areasIf you like wild growth and working with happy enthusiastic over-achievers youll enjoy your career with us!Creation Technologies is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
