Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPrimary Activities/Duties: • Ensure labor and materials are present to meet schedule attainment.• Ensure a quality product is assembled and packaged according to customer specifications and standards.• Meet/exceed all targets for Quality, Productivity, Uptime, On-Time Delivery and Cost.• Must be able to perform work content at every station per work instruction and to takt time.• Maintain a clean, orderly work environment following 5S principles.• Oversee cross training of assembly line workers; keep training matrix up-to-date.• Track daily attendance & complete time sheets.• Drive continuous improvement to achieve a World Class manufacturing environment through implementation of Rittal Production System (RPS).• Interface with quality, engineering, buyer/planner to help resolve any production issues.• Interface with internal suppliers (i.e. paint, fab) to resolve production issues.• Actively participate in improving assembly operations; develop new ideas or methods to improve efficiency.• Actively engage with peers, supervisors and management in creation of a positive workplace culture.Knowledge & Experience: • HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
