Technical Arts Director at First Baptist Church of Naples

SUMMARYThe Tech Arts Director provides creative and technical leadership for all live production environments at First Naples. This includes sound lighting video and stage design for worship services and events across all ministries. This leader will use innovation and excellence to help create engaging distraction-free environments where people can encounter Jesus.The Tech Arts Director leads and develops a team of staff and volunteers who serve in production ensuring that all technical aspects of services reflect the mission and vision of First Naples. This role requires both artistic creativity and operational expertise blending vision with execution to support worship teaching and storytelling across platforms. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIESWorks in coordination with the vision goals and objectives of First Naples.Vision: The vision of First Baptist Church Naples (First Naples) is to glorify God by being a multi-generational multi-ethnic multiplying church that raises up the next generation of disciple-makers church planters missionaries and world changers that reaches our Neighbors to the nations.Mission: Helping people love Jesus to live for Him every day. Basic personal responsibilities:Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study prayer and meditation.Lead yourself and your home towards Honesty Honor Humility Hunger the Holy Spirit and Health (Emotional Spiritual Financially and Physically)Maintain proper priorities in your home including your spouse and children (if married and/or with children).Faithfully support the ministries of First Naples by maintaining wise stewardship measures over the resources entrusted to you.Maintain active participation in an adult-group.Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner to glorify Christ and further the mission and ministry purposes of First Naples (Colossians 3:23-24). SPECIFIC LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide vision and leadership for all aspects of live production including audio lighting video and stage design.Oversee all production elements for weekend services and ministry events.Lead train and develop teams to serve with excellence and unity.Ensure all technical systems are maintained and used effectively.Collaborate with Worship Communications and Ministry Teams to plan and execute creative and engaging experiences.Develop and manage Tech Arts budget.Monitor and oversee volunteer scheduling ensuring proper coverage for all services approved events and activities.Implement processes for consistent quality in production environments.Evaluate and refine production workflows seeking creative innovation and technical excellence.Foster a culture of teamwork humility and worship among the production team. QUALIFICATIONSThe Tech Arts Director must be a proven leader who combines technical expertise with relational leadership and spiritual maturity. This person should have strong skills in live production particularly in sound lighting and video systems along with a heart to use those gifts to advance the gospel. The ideal candidate demonstrates creativity calmness under pressure problem-solving ability and a passion for developing others. They should be deeply aligned with the mission and values of First Naples and capable of leading teams with both excellence and grace. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREDThe ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree and at least five years of experience in a related ministry setting. LANGUAGE SKILLSThe Tech Arts Director must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They should be able to collaborate effectively with creative pastoral and technical teams communicating ideas clearly and respectfully in person in writing and during live events. Tact diplomacy and a team-oriented spirit are essential in leading volunteers staff and ministry partners. TECHNICAL SKILLSThe individual must clearly demonstrate expertise and comfort with Audio Video and Lighting technical systems. REASONING ABILITYThe individual must be able to think creatively and strategically while managing multiple projects and deadlines. This includes the ability to design and implement effective solutions troubleshoot under pressure and adapt quickly in live environments.
