Assist clinical staff by calling patients front desk check-in and check-out and rescheduling patients.Prepare patients and exam rooms for ultrasound procedures.Retrieve patient files and obtain medical information relevant to the ultrasound exam.Escort patients and visitors to the exam room.Collect height weight blood pressure and other patient vitals.Conduct patient intake questionnaire forms.Assist medical professionals with patient examinations or procedures.Assist in updating and archiving medical records and ultrasound images.Clean ultrasound equipment and restock supplies as needed.Other duties assigned by managers.Please note that duties and responsibilities of this position are subject to change and the employee may be required to perform additional tasks as needed.IS THIS YOUOrganized and reliable with strong attention to detailPositive adaptable and ready to support team needsExcellent communicators who thrive in fast-paced environmentsCurious about healthcare and passionate about delivering great serviceComfortable using Microsoft Office; prior EMR experience is a plusHave at least 1 year of work or leadership experience (preferred in customer service or healthcare)Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship now or in the futureBONUS POINTSAssociate or bachelors degree1-3 years of experience in healthcareAmerican Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) certifiedFamiliarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systemsBilingual: Spanish & EnglishRISK OF EXPOSURE TO BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS:Category 1 - Tasks involve exposure to blood body fluids or tissues.This is an hourly non-exempt opportunity.BB Imaging is an Equal Opportunity Employer dedicated to fair hiring practices that support women and babies in underserved communities.
