By equipping the brightest minds with the best resources available we provide an invaluable edge in real estate.As a CoStar Technical Business Analyst on the Data Automation team you will play a key role in expanding the data platform that supports all of CoStar Groups largest brands including CoStar Suite LoopNet and . You will deeply understand what drives the business for which you are building software. We firmly believe that what separates a good developer from a great one is a deep understanding of the business that they are supportingThis position is located in Richmond VA and is 4 days in office Monday through Thursday and Friday work from Home. Responsibilities Define design and author project business functional and technical requirementsDevelop test case scenarios for functional system user acceptance and regression testing as appropriate for the initiative/project. Develop and finalize all assigned artifacts and perform as the primary point of contact for all application requirement elicitation needsEnsure adherence to quality standards for artifacts templates and quality assurance verificationProvide business operations support as neededAssess business operations and processes to identify inefficiencies in procedures information flows and handoffs decisions communications pathways and ways in which systems supporting these can be enhancedEmploy structured modeling techniques and tools to describe business functions processes information and technology designsDocument As-Is and To-Be process flows for existing and future systemsCoordinate and facilitate meetings such as business process reviews requirements and various status reportsOrganize facilitate and lead workshops.Basic QualificationsBachelors Degree required from an accredited not for profit university or college3 years of business analyst experience with Agile Development methodology and familiarity with Sprint and/or ScrumExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to relate tactfully and professionally with customers at all organizational level3 years experience in both Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Visio Project and PowerPoint)Highly organized energetic creative passionate team playerPreferred Qualifications And Skills3 years project management experience3 years experience crafting business cases3 years experience creating user stories and technical requirementsCommercial Real Estate experienceSQL proficiencyExcellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasksWhats in it for YouWhen you join CoStar Group youll experience a collaborative and innovative culture working alongside the best and brightest to empower our people and customers to succeed.We offer you generous compensation and performance-based incentives.
