Job SummaryWe are currently hiring a Payroll Compliance Consultant for our Client Service team, and our ideal candidate will possess a passion for impacting lives and our community. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure payroll compliance with FLSA and state of California specific requirements.Essential DutiesYour Day-to-Day Leadership includes Activities such as these:Reviews all payroll information for clients in CA Ensures receipt of time detailReview Break Exception information in PeopleNet and on timecardsReview waiver informationUtilize PeopleSoft query for reportingDetermines payments to be made when meal periods are due according to state requirementsCommunicates with field prior to making CMP paymentsMaintain client billing information for CMP payments and bill where appropriateCompetenciesCompetencies we value for this role include ethical conduct, thoroughness, detail-oriented, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong time management skills, mathematical aptitude for computation, customer-service orientation, good skills in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), proven strong organizational skills, ability to use logic to solve difficult problems quickly by separating relevant and irrelevant information; establishes facts, obtains all pertinent information before making decisions and bases decisions on concrete evidence.and an ability to effectively prioritize in a high volume, multi-task environment. Prior payroll or accounting experience.
