Technical Design (Experienced or Senior)Company:The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Commercial Aircraft (BCA) Payloads organization is seeking Technical Designers (Experienced or Senior) to join our team in Everett WA.The Payloads Organization is responsible for everything you see when you fly; and much of which you dont. The Interiors of the airplane along with the cargo compartments exterior markings associated systems and cabin safety all make up Payloads. We are how our airline customers fulfill their mission and represent their brand and shape how the public experiences flight. Our organization is a fast paced dynamic environment which pulls from many engineering roles work will align with the Payloads Non-Airborne Software Strategy and include the three Payloads platforms Certification (PACER) Work Management (SPEED) and Engineering (Stone Soup) along with supporting applications including but not limited to Payloads Part Database (PPDB) GenInst FIRE and BURN.This role will include partnering across the Payloads function and airplane programs to develop and manage requirements and develop test and deploy non-airborne software capabilities. It may also include managing the product development across a local and international team sustaining activities such as end user support managing architecture baselines and process system and training updates (and testing) to address issues.Payloads is seeking candidates with experience in any of the following areas:Support within a production/manufacturing systemPart or product design or integrationOur team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced (Level 3) and Senior (Level 4) Technical Designers.Position Responsibilities:Payloads domain knowledge (interior products and processes)Ability to develop test debug and document application softwareAbility to develop and implement software solutions to meet real-time test requirementsAgile development knowledgeAbility to learn new technologies and adapt quicklyDemonstrated ability to be proactive self-motivated flexible and creativeCoordinates with Commodity Teams to optimize the design and achieve program goalsBasic Qualifications (Required Experience):Associates degree or higher3 years of experience in a technical fieldPreferred Qualifications (Desired Experience):7 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience2 years of experience in technical design including modeling and technical integration or equivalent combination of additional education and relevant experienceSource Code knowledge: Django JavaScript HTML 5 SQL C# (being phased out) CATIA Automation using VB script and/or Python.
