This position will be responsible for leading technical engineering functions and subject matter experts to evaluate develop and design long-term solutions that support and align with the business ensuring best life cycle asset performance at lowest reasonable operating costPrimary responsibilities include:Leverages relationships with a business and operations partnership mindset ensuring aligned prioritized and effective engineering resources that deliver improved operational performance and effectiveness.Develop engineering talent and skills within the direct engineering team while influencing that in resources beyond the direct sphere of control for both technical and project management acumen.Focuses the engineering team on its mission to develop effective solutions with supporting data technical vetting and scoping ensuring application of standards and specifications.Sets and communicates clear consistent expectations ensuring achievement of commitments as measured through success factor performance proven via business results such as OEE Uptime Stops and Unit Cost.Owns and drives engineering excellence in standards & specifications processes and practices within the engineering team and the internal customers it supports.Engineering process owner to include problem statement defined success factors solution development from concept to project requests scope of work asset & business life cycle costing and execution support.Drives a proactive mindset through application of best practices in maintenance operations reliability and engineering.Develops long-term horizon capital plans that incorporate current and future business performance needs but also addresses risk of obsolescence.The ideal candidate should possess the following:Bachelors degree in EngineeringPrior experience in an engineering/technical related functions such as engineering maintenance reliabilityDemonstrated growth in progressing technical assignments and responsibilitiesSolid business acumenDemonstrated ability to collaborate and build relationshipsCapable of building selling and aligning areas on strategiesEffective timely communication to team members and customersFocus on customer needs in a highly supportive manner as key go to support resourceWhat We Offer YouWe believe that by continuously improving the quality of our benefits we can help to raise the quality of life for our team members and their families.
