JOB DESCRIPTION

Technical Program Manager III, AI Solutions Development, Cloud Infrastructure

A problem isn't truly solved until it's solved for all. That's why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) for AI Solutions Development within our global infrastructure operations division, you will lead the end-to-end execution of various AI initiatives, managing the development and deployment of domain-specific AI solutions across our operations. You will oversee the creation of AI agents tailored to specific operational use cases and simultaneously manage a dynamic portfolio of multiple AI agents sourced from our innovation pipeline, directing them through the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering and development to global deployment and operational integration across our fleet, including third-party colocation facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the AI and intelligent tooling strategy for the data center fleet, orchestrating the development and global rollout of automated workflows, predictive analytics, and integration frameworks that scale operational oversight, optimize vendor performance, and ensure infrastructure reliability.
  • Lead technical projects, which includes developing project scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, as well as managing project execution to ensure timely delivery and quality.
  • Collect and analyze operational data, including incident reports and system performance metrics, to identify trends and drive process improvements.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations to monitor system health, identify optimization opportunities, and make data-backed recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure the reliable operation of critical systems within third-party data centers, leading improvement projects, and contributing to operational excellence.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $163000 - $237000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits.
