Job Description

Technical Project Manager (New Hudson Facades, LLC, Linwood, PA) Lead and manage a multidisciplinary technical team, including designers, engineers, and CAD technicians, as well as coordinate with external technical resources to achieve project objectives (25%); Oversee and coordinate all technical and material submittals, RFIs, and project documentation with external design teams, including architects, consultants, general contractors, and vendors (15%); Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules and budgets, ensuring alignment with project milestones and financial constraints (10%); Review and analyze all incoming project documents, such as drawings, models, and specifications, to assess potential cost, schedule, and technical impacts, proposing solutions as needed (10%); Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative and project-specific technical details and ensure timely submission of deliverables (15%); Direct the preparation and release of production documentation to vendors, fabricators, and internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with project requirements and quality standards (10%); Provide comprehensive documentation to support both factory assembly and field installation processes, facilitating efficient execution (5%); Mentor, train, and develop technical team members to enhance skills, foster professional growth, and build organizational capability (8%); and Perform administrative duties and address additional responsibilities as requested by the company to ensure smooth departmental operations (2%). In order to complete the above-mentioned tasks, the following skills and experience are required: Experience with project management tools and software, including Microsoft Project, AutoCAD and Primavera, and other design and drafting applications such as Autodesk Inventor, Navisworks, Vault, Bluebeam and Excel; Experience with technical submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), and construction and engineering documentation processes; Experience reading, interpreting, and analyzing engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical specifications; Experience with material selection, fabrication processes, and construction methodologies; Experience developing and implementing project schedules and budgets, ensuring alignment with technical requirements; Experience analyzing project risks and creating innovative solutions to address design or schedule challenges; Experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams, including designers, engineers, and CAD technicians; Experience effectively collaborating with architects, consultants, general contractors, and vendors; and Experience developing technical team members, fostering expertise and growth in a professional setting. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field, and at least a year of experience as a Technical Project Manager, Mechanical Engineer or related occupation. Minimal domestic travel may be required on a project-by-project basis. The Technical Project Manager is expected to travel domestically, once per month, to New York in order to visit the job site.
