Are you an experienced Clinical Lab Professional Labcorp is seeking a Technical Services Consultant located in San Diego CA to support the clinical chemistry department. This unique position requires a technical leader with strong problem solving skills and technical expertise in Hematology Blood Banking Urinalysis and Coagulation. Job ResponsibilitiesRespond to customer inquiries involving highly complex technical or scientific questionsProvide reassurance to clients and identify opportunities to promote servicesAct as a liaison between clients sales and technical departments to facilitate resolution of concernsManage and complete QCDs promptly ensuring same-day resolution when possibleSupport supervisors by providing on-site technical expertise and oversightMonitor laboratory operations and assist in identifying and resolving errorsOversee and execute the AMR process ensuring regulatory compliance and data integrityHandle method and instrument validations ensuring proper documentation and implementationManage and coordinate lab-initiated and assigned projects ensuring timely delivery and cross-functional collaborationCollaborate with multiple teams across divisions to ensure seamless communication and executionMaintain detailed logs and records of inquiries and resolutionsAssist with administrative tasks including answering phones researching information and managing databasesRequirementsBachelors degree in Chemical or Biological science Clinical Laboratory Science Medical Technology or meet local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements3-5 years of clinical laboratory experience in a CLIA CAP laboratory environmentCA CLS license requiredFamiliarity with LCLS LCWS SIS eAssist and other Labcorp IT systems is preferredSkilled in the use of Microsoft Office and EP Evaluator preferredDemonstrated proficiency in the clinical chemistry along with strong knowledge of scientific concepts and effective clinical practices/procedures is preferredExcellent technical and problem solving skillsDiscretion in handling confidential informationHave demonstrated hands-on experience with laboratory proceduresAbility to pass a color blind test is requiredThe position requires the candidate to be extremely organized.
