The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams spanning AI/ML, application development, and data platforms, while ensuring solutions meet enterprise standards for scale, security, and operational readiness.What You Will Be Responsible ForSolution Execution & Delivery LeadershipTranslate platform architecture and product requirements into executable delivery plans across internal and partner teamsLead coordinated delivery of end-to-end solutions spanning: Front-end applications, Backend services and APIs, Data platforms and AI/ML componentsEnsure consistent, high-quality execution aligned to architectural standardsCross-Domain IntegrationDrive seamless integration across application, data, AI, and partner ecosystemsIdentify and resolve cross-team dependencies, integration risks, and technical gapsMaintain alignment with requirements and architecture while ensuring practical executionTeam Leadership & DevelopmentLead and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams across, Applied AI / ML, Data engineering, Application developmentProvide day-to-day direction, prioritization, and coachingBuild a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvementDelivery Quality & Enterprise ReadinessEnsure solutions meet enterprise standards for Scalability and performance, Security and resilience, Regulatory and compliance requirements, and Operational supportabilityOversee transition from proof-of-concept to pilot and productionEstablish practices for testing, documentation, release management, and operational readinessExecution Governance & ProcessDefine and manage delivery processes, including Sprint planning and execution cadence, Cross-team coordination mechanism Issue tracking, escalation, and risk managementAlign engineering execution with product priorities and architectural constraintsStakeholder CoordinationServe as the primary coordination point across engineering, product, design, and risk/compliance teamsCommunicate delivery status, trade-offs, and risks to senior stakeholdersFacilitate alignment across internal teams and external partnersWhat We ValueProven ability to lead delivery of complex, multi-component technology platformsStrong capability in translating architecture into executable, coordinated deliveryExperience operating in fast-paced, cross-functional environments with ambiguityLeadership style that emphasizes team development, accountability, and execution disciplineAbility to communicate effectively across both technical and non-technical audiencesQualifications15+ years of experience in software engineering, data platforms, or AI/ML-enabled systemsDemonstrated experience leading teams delivering enterprise-scale, integrated technology solutionsStrong foundation across: Application development (front-end and backend), Data and analytics platform, AI/ML-enabled systemsExperience integrating complex systems across APIs, data layers, and partner ecosystemsFamiliarity with modern cloud platforms and enterprise integration patternsExperience in financial services or other regulated environmentsStrong people leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, and performance managementBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldWhy This Role MattersThis role sits at the center of one of State Street’s most strategic initiatives—bridging vision and execution. You will shape how a next-generation digital platform is built, scaled, and operated, delivering meaningful impact for institutional clients and individual investors.Salary Range: $170,000 - $267,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
