SABG maintains a high performance culture that emphasizes superior quality productivity process improvement recruitment and ongoing development of a superior you are driven with a can-do attitude and eager to support a fast growing company this may be the opportunity you have been looking for.JOB TITLE: Technical Specialist- Program AnalystLOCATION:Arlington VAREQUISITION #:VAUSSF PMACLEARANCE:SecretREPORTS TO: SABG Program Manager FLSA STATUS: Regular Full-Time ExemptSUMMARY: SABG is seeking a Technical Specialist- Program Analyst to support the USSF PMA in Arlington VA.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in planning developing and overseeing implementation of personnel policies guidance programs and legislative initiativesFamiliar with US Airforce Reserves and Active Duty military and civilian personnel actions; accessions; recruiting; assignments; benefits; joint talent development; compensation; career development; leave promotions etc.Assist in advising the Chief Human Capital Officer on congressional liaison and engagementsCoordinate development integration and resourcing of information technology systems supporting human resource management programs and process human resource technology prioritization and technology scoutingSUPERVISION: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:Bachelors Degree plus 5 10 years of experience in an Operations Engineering Scientific Analysis Policy or Planning fieldExperience in speechwriting or in performing equivalent duties and responsibilitiesSignificant expertise in communications principles methods practices and techniques including skill in presenting ideas in speech and in written form to inform and persuade audiences at all levelsCOMPUTER SKILLS:Skilled in operating a personal computer and standard office equipmentMust have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing spreadsheets database (MS Office: Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint)COMPETENCIES: To perform the job successfully an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations; and uses reason even when dealing with emotional topicsWritten Communication - Writes clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar; varies writing style to meet needs; presents numerical data effectively; and able to read and interpret written informationDiversity Shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; and promotes a harassment-free environmentEthics - Treats people with respect; keeps commitments; Inspires the trust of others; works with integrity and ethically; and upholds organizational valuesPlanning/Organizing - Prioritize and plans work activities; uses time efficiently; plans for additional resources; sets goals and objectives; organizes or schedules other people and their tasks if needed; and develops realistic action plansProfessionalism - Approaches others in a tactful manner; reacts well under pressure; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; accepts responsibility for own actions; follows through on commitmentsLANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read analyze and interpret governmental regulations.
