Remote candidates will not be considered.General Responsibilities Maintain open communication lines with all working relationshipsFollow up to ensure items for which the job is accountable are performedEarn and maintain customers trustUphold the core values of the organizationWork well with others to accomplish the mission of the organization and of the jobSpecific ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day hands-on systems administration as well as technical support to end users located in multiple offices and jobsites throughout the Northern Business Unit including but not limited to:Provide best-in-class customer service to all levels of the organizationSystems administration and systems analysis techniques including working with end-users to determine hardware software and systems functional specificationsDesign documentation testing creation and modification of computer programs and systems to serve Encore end-usersCreate edit remove and maintain Azure AD accountsAdminister and configure SPAM filtering rules using FortiMailConfigure and maintain network infrastructure devicesConfigure monitoring of network infrastructure devicesProvide 1st & 2nd Level support for difficult end-user problems including programming and systems design enhancements and modificationsAfter-hours work required on scheduled basisUpdate and maintain windows servers including testing and troubleshootingBuild new software packages and deploy to users via SCCMDevelop and create processes and procedures including detailed documentationUpdate existing documentation as-neededProcess support requests and knowledge base utilizing ITIL practices and proceduresGeneralMust be a Team PlayerDesktop supportSupport over the telephonePersonal Computer/notebook setupPersonal Computer/notebook troubleshootingInstallation of printersInstallation of scannersSoftware installation & troubleshootingEnd-user trainingSystem analysis and programmingKeep accurate documentation on calls received and status of projectsMaintain current documentation on information systemsDrive to locations throughout Colorado including mountainous areas and occasionally to Wyoming in varying seasons and weather conditionsOpportunity to work on all aspects of IT; desktops servers routers switches firewalls etc.Other duties as may be assignedKNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Knowledge of:Networking in a Windows environmentBasic understanding of networking in a Windows environmentSkill in:MS Server 2013 or laterMS Exchange Server installationsMS Hyper-V ClusterTrouble-shooting/repairing notebook and desktop computersTrouble-shooting MS Office and other off-the-shelf applicationsInstalling software applications printers scanners etc.Excellent customer service skillsAdapting to new and changing requirements environments and/or informationEstimating resources needed to complete required tasksUsing communication softwareBusiness writingEffective written and oral communication sufficient to be able to elicit and communicate information and achieve understandingEstablishing and maintaining effective working relationships with customers vendors management and employeesOrganizing work to accomplish tasksReading and writingTypingPrioritizing and reprioritizing to meet job needsProblem solvingTracking numbers and bits of data relevant to the work assignmentTroubleshooting/repairing notebook and desktop computersTrouble-shooting MS Office and other off-the-shelf applicationsInstalling software applications printers scanners etc.Trouble-shooting problems over the phoneMultitaskingAbility to:Communicate professionally with users of varying skill levelsDrive to locations throughout the state of CO and WY.Troubleshoot issues over the phonePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:DrivingSittingClimbingLifting (up to 50 lbs)StandingStoopingVision acuity (near and far)WalkingREQUIREMENTS:Associates Degree in IT is required.2-4 years Windows 7/10 desktop support in an AD environment required.MCP MCSA or MCSE ISP installations Windows 10 Office 2016 and O365 experience preferred.Experience in the commercial construction industry is also preferred.Benefits of this role:Encore Electric provides excellent benefits for our employees including: medical dental and vision plans disability and life insurance employee-matched 401(k) paid time off (PTO) an employee assistance program that includes counseling legal and financial advice.Encore also provides a generous employee referral program and access to technical safety personal finance and leadership training through Encore University Encores in house training program.This position is eligible for mileage reimbursement cell phone allowance and the short-term incentive program.
