Job Details Experienced Full Time 2 Year Degree $33.10 - $41.50 Hourly Up to 25% Swing ManufacturingDescription The Technical Support Specialist plays a key role in delivering exceptional assistance to end users by ensuring timely resolution of service requests. This position is responsible for accurately documenting each step of the support processfrom identifying and prioritizing issues to resolving themwhile monitoring tracking and coordinating time spent on each request. We have several volunteer opportunities throughout the year.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONSRespond to technical support inquiries via phone and email ensuring timely and courteous resolution. Document service tickets accurately for tracking analysis and continuous improvement. Assign escalate and follow up on issues per established policies and service level agreements. Monitor and verify fixes; access resources such as updates drivers and knowledge bases to aid resolution. Provide after-hours and occasional onsite support as scheduled. Act as liaison between customers and internal teams (engineering service parts). Communicate status updates to requestors throughout the resolution process. Recommend training programs to improve end-user system literacy. Create and publish technical bulletins for troubleshooting and setup assistance.Adhere to safety and security procedures and report unsafe conditions.Ability to work on and familiarity with multiple NPI systems and advanced PC knowledgeFamiliarity with NPI Shared drive resources and how to access themAbility to read interpret schematics and machine drawingsAbility to conduct research into a wide range of issues as requiredAbility to absorb and retain information quicklyAbility to present ideas in user-friendly language to non-technical staff and end usersKeen attention to detailProven analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentExceptional customer service orientationExperience working in a team-oriented collaborative environmentPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION: Technical or Associates Degree preferredEXPERIENCE: 3 years of in-field service experience or troubleshooting support for conveying equipmentSound judgementEffective interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships and interact with all levels of the organizationStrong analytical problem solving and decision-making skillsHigh degree of professionalism with strong communication. leadership skills and teamwork orientationComputer skills: Limble Sales Force MS Office (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint) and ability to learn ERP Systems (Syspro); Excel skills should be at the expert level with a high level of experience with pivot tables VLOOKUP etc.Must be able to travel periodicallyPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate.
