Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Technician to assist with equipment movement and placement for a manufacturing facility. The role involves uncrating and positioning machinery essential for production.

Responsibilities

• Unload, load, and unstuff cargo from trailers or shipping containers.
• Uncrate, crate, unpack, pack, and move cargo using manual or powered hand tools and material handling equipment.
• Relocate and roughly set cargo to designated locations on the production floor using manual or powered hand tools, manual toe jacks, and material handling equipment such as skates, dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts.

Essential Skills

• General labor and construction experience.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Previous experience in a labor-intensive role.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain an OSHA 10 certification.
• 1+ year of construction or physical labor experience.
• Ability to walk over 10 miles per day.
• Ability to bend, crawl, and walk numerous times throughout the day.
• Experience in operating forklifts, gradalls, or other lifts is a plus but not required.

Work Environment

The role is based in a large manufacturing facility. The environment involves both indoor and outdoor material movement and is non-climate controlled, with conditions that can be hot.

Pay and Shift

$22/hr and the work schedule is from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturdays.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
