The RolePresidio Technician is an entry-level position within an IT department, serving as foundational support for an organization's IT infrastructure. This role will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and inventory of computer systems, hardware, software, and networks within an organization. Technicians work under the supervision of more experienced administrators or engineers, assisting with day-to-day tasks and gaining hands-on experience.Travel Requirements: You will be expected to travel up to 75% throughout the US.Responsibilities include: Support: General support, troubleshooting and incident responseCable Management: Assisting with the organization and labeling of network cables in server rooms and wiring closets.Installation and Setup: Assemble, install, and configure new computer systems, peripherals (printers, scanners, monitors), and network devices (routers, switches).Procedure Documentation: Helping to create or update documentation for hardware inventory.Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems (Windows, macOS) and various software applications, including business-specific programs. Required Skills and Professional Experience Associates degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience.Overall
