This all starts with our greatest asset…our employees.What You Will Be Doing:As a Quality Control Technician you will be responsible for maintaining the quality of the products produced by the Yancey Engineering Team.Primary Responsibilities:Inspect tanks and enclosures at different phases of production to verify compliance of buildDocument phase inspections for each buildInspect UL Tank builds at different phases of fabrication for UL 142 complianceScan and maintain filing of compliance documentation to job foldersAdditional Responsibilities:Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe mannerComplete additional tasks as assigned by managementWho We Are Looking For:To be successful in this position you will have prior experience with quality control inspections, strong accountability and initiative. This position also requires someone who has advanced problem solving skills, drive and attention to detail.Education/Experience:High school diploma or equivalentRequired Qualifications/Skills:Capable of reading tape measurement and reading/interpreting YES shop drawingsComputer skills to include Internet Explorer, Excel, Access, Word, Power pointMust be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language.Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the telephonePreferred Qualifications/Skills: Quality control inspection experienceElectrical Experience preferred Values:At Yancey Bros.
