Tendeg LLC is a premier spacecraft deployables company. Our novel designs are enabling exciting missions providing high gain antennas for sensor applications and communications. We have 12 antennas on-orbit and 20 flight deliverables occurring in 2025. Our missions include Earth Science (weather surface deformation and change); LEO GEO and lunar communications; synthetic aperture radar (SAR); and unique radio frequency sensors for commercial and government applications. We have apertures from 50cm to 10m VHF to Q/V-band and precise 2-axis gimbals. Obviously tenacity is another trait we embrace.Title: Technician IIPosition Type: Full-Time/Non-ExemptPay Range: $35.00 - $37.00/Hourly (Salary to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market data)Location: Louisville COPosition Purpose: The Technician II will be responsible for the assembly of precise mechanical components for space flight use.Job Responsibilities:Read understand and execute work instructions to build mechanical assemblies and write assembly procedures.Responsible for using high precision measurement equipment for tool creation and quality control inspection.Assemble and verify precision tooling and spaceflight hardware using metrology equipment such as laser trackers and scanners.Perform fine detail assembly for spaceflight with delicate partsMaintain and inspect all flight hardware and assemblies to verify company product standards.Communicate with engineers and the production team to create and improve designs for tooling and for minor flight hardware changes.Verify final built configuration of assemblies match engineering detailed in the work instructions and assembly drawing.Identify non-conforming parts during the build process by referencing engineering documentation.Take ownership and maintain build documentation for assemblies being built. Including filling out work instructions non-conformance reports and logging time against the applicable work order.Be willing to cross train in multiple areas of specialty.Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Qualifications/Education:5-12 years of experience needed in mechanical assemblyTechnical school degree and certification for technicians; license as required by stateMUST have experience performing light mechanical assemblyTechnical writing skills preferredPreferred experience with calibrated tools and equipmentsAbility to read and work to engineering documentationExcellent manual dexterity ability to handle small partsPossess strong problem solving and communication abilitiesFamiliarity with small tools used for handheld assemblyHigh standard of workmanship is a mustBenefits: As we are growing and investing in our company we invest in our team.
