Position Summary...What youll do...Walmart is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC/R Technician to join our team. As an HVAC/R Technician you will be responsible for installing maintaining and repairing heating ventilation and air conditioning systems as well as boilers chillers RTUs MAUs and refrigeration equipment in our Home Office Campus.Location: This position will be fully onsite in Bentonville AR Schedule: Monday Friday 6:30am 5:00pm (4 10-hour shifts)Youll make an impact by Installing maintaining and repairing HVAC systems including heating ventilation and air conditioning equipment boilers chillers RTUs MAUs and refrigeration equipmentTroubleshooting and diagnosing issues with HVAC systems and equipmentPerforming routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and inspecting equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiencyConducting energy audits and making recommendations for energy-efficient upgradesCollaborating with other maintenance teams to ensure seamless operationsMaintaining accurate records of work performed including maintenance schedules and repair logsProviding excellent customer service to store employees and managementStaying up to date with industry developments and manufacturer recommendationsParticipating in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency callsYoull sweep us off our feet if... You have a Type I/Type II Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handlingYou have 5 years of experience in HVAC/R maintenance and repair with a focus on boilers chillers RTUs MAUs and refrigeration equipmentYou have a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems including heating ventilation and air conditioning principlesYou possess additional certifications (e.g. OSHA ASHRAE)You have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsYou have strong communication and customer service skillsYou can work independently and as part of a teamMinimum Qualifications: Current EPA license OR the ability to obtain oneVocational or Technical Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) certification and 2 years experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls OR 4 years experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls or related field. The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 - $45.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
