Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.Job Summary Coordinates and executes delivery of technology equipment within the University. Responsible for loading, unloading, and tracking technology and other items as requested within a warehouse, storage facility, or other campus location. Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, or other handling equipment to move items within the storage facility. Completes assigned system tasks to update and verify the transfer of technology from and to each location in the Asset Management System. Routinely interacts with all constituents within the University community.Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - 1. Executes delivery and removal of University technology from campus departments as requested via the asset management system service requests2. Validates and completes system tasks to ensure accurate and complete reporting of the state of each asset3. Utilizes mobile barcode scanner to accurately record the asset tag and serial number when performing receiving and surplus activities4. Performs a variety of semi-skilled manual tasks and duties in support of various services provided by department5. Loads and unloads vehicles by hand or by use of hand truck or dolly6. Properly secures items for transportation and unloading7. Positions items within workspaces according to established guidelines8. Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of technology equipment and supplies9. Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices10. Works effectively in a service-oriented environment subject to frequently changes in priorities11. Follows through and carries out assignmentsRequired Qualifications Educational RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentOther Required QualificationsCurrent, valid, and unrestricted driver's licenseKSU forklift training within 30 days of employmentKSU driving requirements for UITS vehicles (i.e., Box Truck) within 30 days of employmentRequired ExperienceThree (3) years of related experiencePreferred Qualifications Preferred Educational QualificationsAn undergraduate or advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related fieldPreferred ExperienceProven experience with an asset and inventory tracking system (i.e., ServiceNow)Proven experience with an ordering system (i.e., PeopleSoft)Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities ABILITIESAble to operate various equipment related to role and departmentAble to drive KSU vehicles (i.e., box trucks, vans, golf carts, etc.) to different areas on campus.
