Guardian Savings Bank is looking for a Teller Supervisor for our Mt Airy branch.Purpose of the roleAs a Teller Supervisor you will support the branch manager by overseeing the efficient operation of the branch to ensure all operational functions are completely and properly performed by the staff while conveying a feeling of trust, service, security and satisfaction to customer and staff. You will be responsible for overseeing the teller function, working with the department to achieve growth and provide excellent customer service. These duties as a teller supervisor are contingent on the scope of the services that are offered at the facility. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesComplete deposits, withdrawals, and other financial interactionsProvide excellent customer serviceBalance teller stationConfirm accuracy of transactionsPrepare, verify and issue cashier checks and personal money orders, and facilitate wire transfersOpen new accountsRenegotiate certificates of depositReview balances with employees and staff dailyEducation and ExperienceHigh School Diploma, required; Associates degree and equivalent industry experience in related field, preferred.Minimum 1 year of working experience in a bank branch setting, requiredMinimum 1 year of working experience as Teller, requiredNational Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E.
