*PERM ADDRESS MUST BE 50 MILES FROM FACILITY - NO LOCALS*Job Summary: Under general supervision and following established procedures operates highly technical Ultrasound equipment which produces high-frequency sound to acquire images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed high-frequency sound for diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. Works effectively with patients and the patients families and maintains a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel.Must be able to perform breast imaging & DVT examsRequirement description : Essential Qualifications: Graduate of an approved/accredited School of Ultrasound. Must be RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) or ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Sonographer) and have BLS (AHA) Certification. One year of previous experience is required.
