Position SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Temporary Environmental Health and Safety Manager (EHSM) to lead our efforts in creating a safe healthy and compliant work this critical role you will be responsible for preventing workplace injuries and illnesses by identifying potential hazards and implementing effective safety and environmental policies. Your leadership will ensure that our team works in an environment that prioritizes their well-being and meets all regulatory standards. What Youll DoConduct regular facility inspections and hazard assessmentsDevelop and implement safety policies and training programsEnsure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulationsInvestigate incidents and recommend corrective actionsManage PPE distribution SDS databases and training recordsFacilitate monthly safety committee meetingsLead a team of Safety CoordinatorsRepresent the company in industry and community safety groups What Were Looking ForRequired:High school diploma or GED5 years of EHS experience (construction or service industry preferred)Valid Florida drivers license and insurable by company carrier Preferred:Bachelors degree in Environmental Safety Occupational Health or a related fieldOSHA 500 CertificationTrain the Trainer certifications: OSHA 10/30-hour Confined Space Hazmat and GHS Youll Succeed If You Have:Expert knowledge of OSHA EPA DOT DOL and DISA standardsFamiliarity with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001Strong analytical organizational and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeA self-motivated mindset and ability to work independently Physical & Work EnvironmentThis role involves working on active job sites in Floridas unique environmental conditions.
