Posting Number:PG195597TMPosition Number:11ASO3593Position Type:TemporaryEssential Job Duties:The Senior Post-Award Consultant role, is a highly independent role where you’ll be responsible for interpreting policies, managing complex financial portfolios, and ensuring compliance with both university and agency requirements. You will be a key player in supporting research excellence, providing guidance, and ensuring the continued success of funded research projects.Key Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:Provide comprehensive financial management for complex research portfolios, including budgeting, HR commitments, and no-cost extensions.Ensure compliance with sponsor guidelines and university policies, advising faculty on fund availability and timing.Manage post-award consultant’s workflow, change request approvals, and closeout processes.Serve as a subject matter expert, assisting with large-scale projects and offering training to new staff on grant management practices.Act as a backup for other Senior Post-Award Consultants, contributing to collaborative problem-solving across teams.Provide training to CALS community in specialized research areas as related to management of grants.We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to independently manage complex projects.
