Job Description:Description:The Temporary Senior Summer Programs Operations Assistant will provide high-level operational management and support for all Summer Programs working closely with and under the supervision of the Associate Director of Summer Programs Operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring smooth efficient processes that directly impact the student and family experience throughout the entire yearly cycle.Key Responsibilities:Oversee student and parent account creation and maintenance in the Magnus Health Portal.Coordinate with Public Safety and OneCard staff to ensure student IDs are printed and distributed on time.Support the issuance of scholarships and the implementation of new audition and placement systems for 1000 Aspire: Five-Week students.Build and maintain operational reports scripts and systems to support outreach initiatives and train additional staff.Assist with updating published materials preparing applications for launch and evaluating and improving registration systems.Partner with the Associate Director to hire train and support additional operational staff members.Provide direct assistance to families with outstanding requirements (health and safety documents payments placement materials etc.) and manage student check-in processes.Attend to the needs of program participants their parents Summer Programs faculty and related staff via phone/email and in person.Serve as a key contact for families and students including in escalated or sensitive situations assessing needs and resolving issues as they arise.Collaborate with the Aspire: Five-Week office staff Summer Programs staff program directors and advising teams to ensure effective program delivery.Aid students and families by connecting them with the relevant resources to resolve any issues from check-in to acclimating to theirprogram.Coordinate logistics with Dining Hall staff including ordering catered meals and communicating student rosters per program.Prepare and distribute time-sensitive program materials.Other duties as assigned within the scope of the description.Additional DetailsMust be available for select evening and weekend work during on-campus programming (June - August).Serves as an on-campus Summer Programs representative from April - August and works remotely from September - March.Required Qualifications:Strong interpersonal customer service skills and experience in dealing with challenging customer interaction situationsExcellent communication skillsCreative and flexible problem solving skillsStrong organizational skillsHigh attention to detailComputer literacy (specifically Mac OS Microsoft Suite spreadsheet management)Ability to work weekends and eveningsStrong sense of initiative and ability to work as a member of a teamEntry-level working knowledge of college computer systems or equivalent (Colleague Salesforce Workday education industry CRM systems)Experience in music education preferredHiring Range: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour; hourly rate dependent on relevant experience and education.
