Its here that we produce the UH-72A Lakota Helicopters for the U.S. Army in addition to the H-125 aircraft for civil and commercial customers.Your Challenges:Architecture and Definition: 60%Define System/Integration architectures in accordance with engineering operation requirements as elaborated during offer phases to meet customer airworthiness general engineering standards and company requirements.Design integrate and approve the defined solutionsValidate design solutions by implementing simulation modeling predictive toolsIntegration Activities: 40%Design develop and review technical documents and engineering drawings needed to integrate avionics and electrical equipment and their associated interfacesProvide liaison support to various internal and external customers as required for support of aircraft integration and conformity efforts (suppliers planning industry quality etc.)Present and communicate modifications and aircraft configuration during design reviews and other required presentations to a variety of customersDesign layout of aircraft modifications zonal allocations and weight & CG impact as well as layout of various completions and STC projectsDevelop wire routing and aircraft structure interface (considerations to include antennae location/separation requirements maintainability etc.).Create airframe design integrations and modifications for structural items such as doors windows frames etc. and for external load items like cameras lighting hoists cargo hooks floats etcDevelop structural drawings (details/assemblies installations wire routing mod drawings top drawings etc.)Your Boarding Pass: Education:Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering (or equivalent technical degree and/or relevant experience)PreferredMaster of Science in the above referenced degreesExperience:Minimum 3 (three) years of relevant experience (or verifiable demonstrated equivalent) of aircraft systems design development integration and certificationTravel Required:10% Domestic and InternationalCitizenship:US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)Qualified Skills:Knowledge Skills Demonstrated Capabilities:Avionics architectureAvionics system integrationSystem Engineering ARP 4754Structural Systems Integration (aircraft interfaces)Physical-requirements based structural component design experience (interface loads/load path and vibration)Structural component design and manufacturing processesElectrical Wiring Diagram and wire-routing requirements understandingModel-based design expertise in alignment with industry standards and best methods (e.g. : CATIA-V5)High quality engineering drawing development capabilities in alignment with industry standardsPreferredSystem Engineering Do160SimulationCommunication Skills:Required:Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form in EnglishPreferred:Written/oral proficiency in French/GermanTechnical Systems Proficiency:Required:Avionics and Electrical systemAvionics system integrationDigital literacyAvionics systems layout requirements and considerationsThe main tasks are:Establish System Requirements (From Customer AHNA Policy Standards Airworthiness)Define System Physical ArchitectureDefine and perform integration activitiesPhysical Requirements: Onsite or remote: 100% Onsite except when on travelVision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens able to read documents reports and engineering drawings.
