Our promise is to provide outstanding service as it remains to be our first and foremost mission.Position Summary: The Terminal Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing the terminal employees and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to ensure customer deliveries are timely and efficient. Additionally as a member of the terminal leadership team you will be tasked with teaching and further developing policies and procedures within the framework of the Pyle Culture.The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:Developing the workforce by setting clear expectations training coaching and providing feedbackPerforming employee reviews; documenting corrective action as neededParticipating in the interview and hire processes; providing constructive feedback on hiring decisionsBuilding pickup and delivery routes in the Pyle ERP system by assigning delivery stops within geographic area that ensures operational efficiency and customer delivery expectations are metEnsuring all established unloading and loading processes are followed. Providing feedback and training to employees as necessary to ensure the safety of all employeesReviewing load plan(s) and HAZMAT loading to ensure driver safety and DOT requirementsEnsuring all shipments are manifested and stowed properly to ensure damage-free transitGenerating and maintaining daily monthly and quarterly reports that support dock operationsBeing accountable for Pyle Priority Shipments within the operationTo be qualified for this position you must possess the following:Terminal transportation and/or warehouse related experience; dispatch and or routing experience preferredPrior experience in a supervisory or management position preferred but not requiredBachelors degree preferred; High School Diploma GED equivalentExcellent verbal and written communications and organizational skillsAbility to display a sense of urgency; able to excel under pressure while operating with a high attention to detailWillingness to work first second or third shifts as requestedBenefits of Pyle:Medical Dental Vision and Life InsuranceShort Term and Long Term Disability401 (k) with Company MatchAnnual Corporate Profit Sharing (100% employer paid)Wellness Program for yearly benefits discountPaid vacation and PTO; paid annual holidaysFor a full job description associated with this posting please contact A.
