Test Facility Technician at ASSA ABLOY

We are looking to add a Test Facility Technician to the team!This will be an on-site position that will be based out of our Curries Innovation Technology Center located about 10-15 minutes from our main building in Mason City IowaCome seewho we are at: would you do as our Test Facility TechnicianYou will assist withsetting up and testing of our products. Your results will help us to ensure that our doors can withstand fire hurricanes etc. You will review and document your results.You would also:Ensure all applicable Safety requirements are maintained and applicable personal protective equipment (PPE) is used.Follow the ITC Quality Manual Procedures and work instructions to support Listing organization (UL Intertek etc.) accreditation of the Test Facility.Support scheduled Test Facility activities including inventorying and ordering material to meet testing requirements.Obtain and maintain expertise on relevant test standards.Assist in construction of test walls and installation of doors frames and hardware.Assist in obtaining and recording required test data.Perform basic preventative maintenance to test apparatus and facility equipment.Perform day to day up-keep and janitorial duties as required for facility and grounds.Other duties as assigned.Actively participate in providing a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees.Maintains compliance with federal state local and corporate governance policies regulations and laws AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.What we are looking for:High School diploma or GEDBasic computer skillsBasic welding and building construction skills preferredAbility to present ideas in user-friendly languageBasic welding and building construction skills preferredCapable of lifting 70lbs and comfortable working on ladders operating a scissor lift and lift-truck.Ability to work overtime as neededWhat we offer!We believe in creating opportunities and providing benefits that empower you to grow thrive and build a rewarding lifelong career with us.
