Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Test Technician for our newly renovated Clearwater facility who will perform duties to operate lab equipment (e.g., multi-meters, power supplies, signal generators, frequency counters, and oscilloscopes).Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Perform basic counterfeit detection testing such as electrical AC/DC test at specified ambientBased on Traveler criteria, Test Plan test parameter setup conditions, instrumentation, and HW/SW requirements, implement specific Test Production solutionTrain Test Operators on test data collectionTroubleshoot general mechanical or electrical test setup relatedReview specific product data sheets and instrumentationDocument and collect supporting problem information, fill out standard related forms, consult with Test Engineering and Production group in order to find final disposition and resolutionReview automated and non-automated test data collection results against Test Parameter requirements prior to moving orders to next operation, assuring corresponding accuracy and completenessSupport final Test Report creationMaintain a safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operatingPerform other related duties as assignedJob Qualifications:Education/Experience:An electronic technician with experience in a test environment and/or a bench technician with experience in troubleshooting or design related duties.Associate’s Degree in Electronics or equivalent coursework and experience1 to 3 years of bench technicianTechnical Skills:Identify resistors and capacitors using part numberBe familiar with logic truth tables to identify outputs when given inputUnderstanding of general testFamiliarity with schematic symbols and theirUnderstanding of basic troubleshootingProficient with Microsoft Excel and WordStandard SKills:Ability to speak, read, and write in English required Ability to meet consistent work attendance and be on time for 7am scheduled shift Ability to meet quality standards and maintainAbility to follow detailed written and verbal instructionsAbout Micross:Micross Components is a leading global provider of specialty electronics solutions for defense, space, medical and demanding industrial industries.
