JOB TITLE: Test Technician - 1st Shift LOCATION: Oldsmar FL PAY RATE: $26-35/hour We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client. Job Details: Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension) Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation Benefits: Medical dental and vision (Cigna) Perks: Bonus potential Priority access via Tier 1 supplier Openings Nationwide: Thousands of opportunities across the U.S. Qualifying Questions: Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary Summary: Install maintain and repair in-line manufacturing equipment Diagnose failures replace components/modules and perform basic troubleshooting Interpret drawings diagrams manuals and written/verbal instructions Maintain maintenance inventory and repair logs Use a variety of hand power and test tools May redesign basic optical electrical mechanical or vacuum systems May estimate labor/equipment costs and prepare requisitions Monitor evaluate and improve equipment and machine performance Perform preventive and corrective maintenance including urgent repairs Support CCA production equipment across operations Collaborate with Production Product Process Quality and Test engineering teams Requirements: High school diploma plus technical training or equivalent experience (10 years) 10 years of experience Strong mechanical hand-tool and soldering skills Advanced problem-solving ability (process/product/procedure) Working knowledge of electronics pneumatics hydraulics and mechanical systems Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and multiple shifts Strong communication skills Must complete required training programs (PWB Handling First Piece Component ID ESD etc.) Experience with MyCronic and Universal Instruments PnP systems Kohyoung/YesTech AOI SMT CCA Inline-Wash and MPM Screen Printer experience Associate degree or technical vocational certificate Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
