This opportunity is located within our Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company business, a global leader of mission-critical hardware and systems solutions including precision energetics systems and innovative explosive solutions.Job DescriptionEBAD seeks a Test Technician, reporting to the ATL Test Lead. This is a Second shift position located in Moorpark, CA.ResponsibilitiesThe Test Technician position supports electrical and mechanical testing of our non-energetic product lines. Duties include:Test evaluation, set-up and performanceEquipment preventive maintenance and calibrationTest data reporting and plottingEquipment troubleshooting and repairPrimary responsibility will be evaluation, set-up and performance of electrical tests, mechanical loading and proofing. Testing will be performed in accordance with written procedures, MIL-STD's and industry specifications. Test data will be generated to support customer requirements. Occasional heavy lifting (25 lbs.) and overtime may be required.Requirements:Education: High School Diploma (Associate Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred).Candidates must be able to work independently and interface with individuals at multiple levels in the organization. Strong mechanical aptitude, problem solving and communication skills are required. Candidates must be able to interpret and execute test requirements provided in written specifications. Experience working in an aerospace industry is preferred.
