The company is a global pioneer of AESA tactical radars for active military protection, counter-drone applications, critical infrastructure protection, and border surveillance.Job SummaryDRS RADA Technologies is looking for a Test Technician (RF) with excellent attention to detail, good communication and problem-solving skills. The Test Technician will create test procedures, conduct production testing on radar system performance, record results, and maintain product performance to sustain a predetermined standard of product quality. The work will be performed in an ESD safe environment.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support to engineers on complex components, devices, materials, products, processes and/or equipmentTroubleshoot and repair RF, communications, and power PCBsPerform cable terminationsPerform system tests using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and signal generatorsPerform RF sensor calibrationConfigure hardware/software (test platforms)Document UUT configurations and analyze cause of EUT failuresDocument test data thoroughly and accuratelyWork from complex wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications and sketchesand running sheets of significant complexityInterpret and follow written documents such as SOPs and safety rulesEnsure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements applicable to the company in accordance withState and Federal regulations and any applicable certifications required to maintain the certificationAssist in training new team membersInterface with other departments to assure efficient flow of information and materialsPerform Key Performance Indicators:Meet production deadlinesQuality of finished product (pass/fail rates)Raw material stock levelsCompliance outcomesModify complex electrical prototypes to correct functional deviationsQualificationsRequires an associate's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in the field or in a related areaMust demonstrate strong decision-making and leadership skillsExperienced handling small delicate components, using ESD practicesSoldering and wirebonding experience a plusMust be experienced in the safe handling of chemicalsExperienced in the use of various computer applications, including Access, Excel, and LabviewExperience with MRP a plusMust have good mechanical skillsThe salary range for this position is $55,567/year - $79,460/year. This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate's qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for: annual performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and overtime pay (for non-exempt employees as applicable.
