Flexibility effective communication and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The essential job functions and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:Administering examsHelping students to be successfulAssisting with the daily responsibilities in Assessment CentersDemonstrating the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a diverse student populationConsistently demonstrating sound professional judgment relative to individual studentsAccurately answering questions both in person and on the telephoneUsing technology to administer examsSPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The specific duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:Administering examsTracking distance learning examsCompleting data entryVirtually proctor examsNotifying students of placement resultsInteracting with students IRSC administration faculty and staffEmployees will be based on one of five IRSC Campuses but must be flexible and willing to travel to alternate IRSC CampusesAssisting coworkers in the testing processActively monitoring testing roomMust be able to work both day and evening hours during the weekCompleting other duties and responsibilities as assignedQUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:The qualifications and skill requirements for this position include:Bachelors degree from an accredited institutionPrevious testing responsibilities preferredOne year of documented work experience in the areas of customer service and/or educationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to maintain strict accuracy and be detail-orientedAbility to deal with confidential reportsPositive student-oriented attitudeAbility to work with a diverse student populationProper telephone etiquetteTechnology skillsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:This position requires an ability to sit stand walk bend lift reach up stoop and carry items occasionally in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds. It also requires manual dexterity to operate standard office machines such as copier fax calculator telephone and other equipment as necessary.
