Shining Star Community Services is excited to announce our foster care program. We are seeking caring people in Las Vegas and the surrounding areas who are interested in making a difference in the life of a child and teen.

Right now, children and teens in our community need a safe, loving home while they wait for permanency. Many have faced tough starts, but they are resilient, funny, talented, and ready to be the leaders of our future.

Fostering isn't always easy-it's challenging, meaningful work that asks you to open your heart and home. But the rewards? They go far beyond what most people expect:

Watching a child smile for the first time in months
Helping them discover their strengths and interests
Building bonds that last a lifetime (many foster parents stay connected forever)
Personal growth-you'll learn as much from them as they do from you
Full training, ongoing support, respite care, and financial reimbursement provided every step of the way

No prior experience needed. Single people, couples, LGBTQ+ families, empty-nesters, working parents-all welcome if you have room, stability, and commitment.

Requirements (simple):

Be 21+
Pass background checks
Have a safe, stable home
Complete free training (we guide you)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,500.00 - $6,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
