Behavioral Health Therapist Acute ServicesThe hiring range:Bachelors Level $50003 - $60008 annuallyMasters Level Unlicensed $58011 - $69618 annuallyMasters Level Licensed $annuallyAll levels based on relevant years of experienceLocation:Larimer County Colorado at our Longview campusStatus:Full time 40 hours per weekHours: Wednesday-Saturday 2PM-12:30AMEmployees working at locations operating 24/7 earn a differential. Shift differentials are also available for evenings nights weekends and holidays.Role Overview:Responsible for providing assessment crisis intervention individual family and group therapy as well as case management. Develop and monitor service plans treatment progress document interactions and maintain clinical records and other reporting data for clients with mild to severe mental illness disorders and/or disabilities and substance use disorders. Coordinate with internal as well as external supportive services to deliver services to client. Collaborate with medical providers nurses behavioral health technicians case managers peer specialists and psychiatrists regarding treatment. The role will work with and advocate for diverse and often marginalized populations daily to provide interventions support and resources and to ensure that the appropriate services are offered in an inclusive and equitable manner.Essential Duties:Facilitation of a Substance Use Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program level of care.Direct client care includes care coordination behavioral health related screenings and assessments individual and group therapy brief therapy case management and related clinical services.Serves as a clinical resource person to building site(s) clinical staff case managers medical providers and collaterals.Knowledge of professional policies and procedures.Collaborate with other staff in providing planning developing implementing and evaluating clinical services including collaborating with Clinical Managers and Program Supervisors.Performs behavioral health screenings and assessments within the medical clinic setting to include review of treatment options and referral information.Provides on-going care coordination within SummitStone community agencies and resources.Provides crisis intervention to include crisis assessment and de-escalation.Provides on-site collaboration with medical providers to provide behavioral health assessments for those clients identified with behavioral health needs. Clinical documentation.Required:Bachelors degree in the Human Services field from an accredited College or University requiredMore than two years of experience in the mental health field and program application requiredLicenses and Certifications:Valid Colorado drivers license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire and a clean driving recordCPR and First Aid certifications may be required for certain locationsHighly Desired:Masters degree in the Human Services field from an accredited College or University preferredExperience in coordinating mental health intervention plans and services with other agencies preferredCAT/CAS certification highly desiredCurrent Colorado professional license in appropriate discipline (LCSW LPC LAC or LMFT) preferredBilingual/bi-cultural preferredThere are opportunities within our team-based model to attend company-sponsored training programs complete certifications (such as CAT or CAS) and to learn from seasoned colleagues daily.
