About the roleThe Tire Technician is responsible for overseeing all activity within the production/tire department. They ensure shop safety guidelines are followed with tire and wheel mount and balance tools and equipment.What youll doProperly mount/balance new tires on rims per company specificationsBreak down and remove boxes/debris from workstationKeep workstations stocked with tire and wheel inventory and suppliesPerform inspections of completed work to ensure completion and qualityFollow safety proceduresAbility to mount balance package tires and wheelsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED1 years in tire/automotive productionKnowledge of mounting balancing and tools/machineAble to lift 75 lbs.
