Job DescriptionTire TechnicianFull-TimeLocation: Chester, NYCompensation: $27.00 - $28.00 hourlyWe are seeking a skilled Tire Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, mounting, balancing, repairing, and replacing tires on commercial and fleet vehicles. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment. Experience with heavy-duty or commercial tires is preferred but not required.What we offer:Paid weekly/Direct depositMedical, Dental, Vision, and Flexible Spending Account ($3,400)Dependent Care Spending Account (Daycare $5000)Company-sponsored Life insurance ($100k)401k Retirement Plan with Company match10 Paid Holidays, 7 PTO, 5 Floating Holidays, Birthday, Paid VacationUniforms providedEmployee Discounts through LifeMart and Tickets at Work (Travel, Hotels, Car Rentals, Theme Parks, Electronics, Childcare and more )Save up to 15% on Verizon Wireless Bill with Employee DiscountSamsung save@workHUSK Marketplace (discounts on Fitness, Nutrition, Mental Health, and more)Perfect Attendance $100 (every 6 months)Union Shop Key Responsibilities:Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation.Remove, mount, balance, and rotate tires on commercial and fleet vehicles.Repair punctures, leaks, and other tire-related issues following safety and quality standards.Maintain and operate tire equipment such as balancers, tire changers, and air tools.Ensure proper torque and installation practices are followed at all times.Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks as needed.Collaborate with team members to meet production needs and service timelines.Performs other duties as required. Qualifications & Skills:Experience: 1–3 years of experience as a Tire Technician or in a similar mechanical/maintenance role.Mechanical Skills: Familiarity with tire mounting, balancing, and repair procedures.Attention to Detail: Ability to perform accurate inspections and quality workmanship.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., work in various weather conditions, and stand/walk for extended periods.Safety Focus: Knowledge of shop safety procedures and PPE use.Experience with operating heavy-duty shop equipment, bus, or commercial vehicle tires.Please send resumes to [email protected] Walk-ins Welcome!Coach USA is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
