Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on progressive, transfer, blanking, or line dies used in metal stamping or aluminum production
  • Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble dies to ensure optimal performance
  • Perform TIG welding repairs and modifications on dies and tooling
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Conduct preventive and corrective die maintenance to reduce downtime
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and tooling drawings
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve die performance
  • Operate manual machining equipment (e.g., grinders, mills) as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of die maintenance experience in metal stamping, aluminum, or mold making
  • Journeyman tool and die certification highly preferred
  • Strong TIG welding skills
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair progressive, transfer, or blanking dies
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
