Job Description

Position Summary:The Tool Room Die Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the tool room and CNC Tool Room Department ensuring all tools dies molds and fixtures are maintained in optimal condition to support continuous production. This role includes personnel management inventory control safety enforcement vendor coordination and collaboration with internal departments.Pay Range:$93184-$139776Key Responsibilities:Supervise daily tool room activities Die Maker CNC Machinist Machinist Tool Helper and Apprentices.Ensure new tool builds are done on time and accurate. Maintain accurate inventory of tools consumables and supplies.Ensure tools are regularly inspected cleaned and repaired.Implement and enforce safety procedures in the tool room environment.Manage the repair and maintenance of dies molds and fixtures to support manufacturing needs.Coordinate with external vendors for die modifications replacements or specialized repairs.Supervise and lead a team of tool room and die repair technicians.Assign work establish priorities and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met.Provide training performance evaluations and participate in hiring and disciplinary actions as necessary.Work collaboratively with production engineering and maintenance departments to ensure tooling availability and readiness.Maintain effective communication with vendors and suppliers to manage timelines and procurement.Maintain detailed records and history of tool and die usage repairs and modifications.Manage budgets related to tooling and die repair operations.Monitor expenditures and identify opportunities for cost savings or process efficiencies.Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety protocols.Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.Promote a clean safe and organized work environment for all employees.Education and Experience:High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.5 years of experience in tool and die maintenance including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.Essential Skills:Strong knowledge of tool room and die repair processes equipment and safety standards.Proficient in interpreting blueprints technical drawings and tooling specifications.Excellent organizational communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.Standing walking and moving throughout the shop floor for extended periods.Use of PPE as required in industrial environments.Required Experience:Manager Key Skills Children Activity,English Language,Guest Relations,Administration & Operation,Adobe Photoshop,Filing Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Monthly Salary Salary: 93184 - 139776
