Key Responsibilities Design develop and optimize new tooling jigs and fixtures for manufacturing processes. Oversee maintenance repair and modification of existing production tooling. Troubleshoot and resolve tooling-related issues impacting production efficiency and quality. Collaborate with design production and quality teams to ensure tooling meets specifications. Specify and select appropriate tooling materials coatings and manufacturing methods. Manage tooling projects from concept through production launch adhering to budgets and timelines. Conduct root cause analysis for tooling failures and implement corrective actions. Recommended Qualifications Experience in the design development and maintenance of manufacturing tooling. Knowledge of tool materials heat treatment and surface finishes. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot diagnose and optimize tooling performance.
