Key Responsibilities Design develop and optimize tooling for manufacturing processes. Analyze and troubleshoot tooling-related production issues implementing effective solutions. Manage the full lifecycle of tools including maintenance repair and replacement. Collaborate with design production and quality teams to ensure tool performance and product quality. Conduct tool trials validations and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Specify and select appropriate materials and manufacturing methods for tooling components. Ensure all tooling meets safety quality and regulatory standards. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field. 3-5 years of experience in tooling design manufacturing or maintenance within a production environment. Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD Mastercam) for tooling design and analysis. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as CNC machining EDM injection molding or stamping. Knowledge of tool materials heat treatment and surface coatings. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot tooling issues perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
